The connector reads one Cisco Webex organization — the organization you
identify by its organization ID — and syncs that organization’s people.
Each person’s profile carries their display name, email, account type, the
IDs of the roles assigned to them, and their account state. People who can
sign in sync as enabled users; people whose login is turned off or whose
invitation is still pending sync as disabled, which is useful for
offboarding review.
To read the full people roster, the access token must belong to an
administrator of the organization you are syncing. A non-administrator
token sees only itself.
1
Sign in to Cisco Webex as an administrator of the organization you want
to sync.
2
Obtain an access token for the connector. For a long-running sync, use a
Bot token or an OAuth Service App token, which do not expire on a fixed
short cycle. A personal access token from the Webex developer portal can
be used for a quick trial, but it expires 12 hours after it is issued and
must be rotated for ongoing syncs.
3
Note the organization ID of the organization you want to sync. You can
find it in Control Hub under Account.
